Kids who could not afford schooling at an early age due to a multitude of socio-economic family circumstances (poor families, girl child, etc.) find it difficult to succeed in the conventional schools. We try to address this issue that limits upwards social mobility by preparing disadvantaged kids for a conventional government school. Once they get in, we try to arrange extra classes with our network of volunteers to help them keep up with the coursework.
School life is not complete without fun—arts, sports, and other extra-curricular activities. Fun is necessary for holistic social development. We organize sporting events, music and dance classes, picnics, painting and other art classes regularly.
It has been proven time and time again that learning cannot happen on empty stomachs. We strive to provide some food for all kids while they are at our center. Thanks to our local contributors we are able to provide midday snacks/meals and regular health check-up by volunteer doctors from time to time.
